Ouch!

I have been having some rotator cuff sensitivity lately, and now it hurts because I just spent thirty seconds jumping up and down shaking my fist in the air like a teenager at a concert, because I saw a commercial on public TV, between Antiques Roadshow and America's Ballroom Challenge, for "The Best Of..." Monty Python's Flying Circus. I haven't seen any of the Flying Circus for years, and just seeing the bits in the commercial made me realize how much I have missed it. If they had shown a scene from the Spam sketch, I probably would have passed out.

And another blast from the past....remember the Seinfeld episode where Elaine introduces the concept of "spongeworthy"? Well, I was at Walgreens today, and on the end of one of the aisles I passed was a display of Today sponges. They're back, and apparently, a man who is "spongeworthy" is worth three dollars.

I saw the Monty Python commercial on PBS too. There was a tiny bit of the spam sketch in there. A woman was saying "But I don't like spam." Or something to that effect. The only problem is it will be airing on Wednesday.

Now that you have a DVD player, you should borrow them from us! Ted has the whole set and I can certainly part with them for a while. ;) Let me know!!
