I don't know what it's called, but we have that near our back fence and every couple of months I have to attempt to pull out the roots and detangle it from the fence because if I don't...oi, that's all I have to say.

Other than that everything else looks pretty. Not sure what would be eat the daisies. It doesn't look like rabbits, but if you have those nearby, plant marigolds as a border - they won't eat those.

You'll find that advice will come out of the woodwork for anything related to home-ownership and some of it actually works. Best of luck and I enjoy seeing the pics!Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04126323212018077624noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7779059.post-48426702289990912262009-06-20T22:48:30.551-04:002009-06-20T22:48:30.551-04:00You'll enjoy the butterfly plant (Buddleia . ....You'll enjoy the butterfly plant (Buddleia . . . probably "Black Knight"). Remember to deadhead fading blossoms. And it's OK to trim back parts of the plant that intrude on the walkway.

You may have slugs munching on your Shasta Daisies. Tuck a shallow dish of beer under the leaves. Slugs will be attracted by the yeast, fall into the dish and drown. Replenish the brew after a rain. If you don't trap any slugs, we'll have to consider another muncher.

Perhaps someone else can identify the vine. I can't from the photo, but it doesn't look good to me. Such a sparsely leafed vine suggests weed to me and, barring more info, I'd be pulling it out by the roots.RicochetRedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11165055129816237632noreply@blogger.com
