Interesting...

Today I was overcome with inspiration, and just had to write it down so it could stop running around in my head. This is it:
Fascinating, isn't it? Betcha can't tell what it is. That's because I fuzzed out the sketch. It's a surprise. I'll probably never get around to doing it, so I'm just going to keep quiet, and no one can steal my idea. I would have a contest to see if anyone could guess something about it, but I don't have anything cool to give away. I've never designed my own pattern before, or had desire to, but lately ideas have been popping into my head, and they're good ones, too. Well, I think so at least. We'll see how big of a disaster they turn out to be, if I ever get around to pursuing them. I can tell you they're a hell of a lot better than a lot of the other crap being published out there.

I spent an hour and a half this evening scrubbing my bathroom top to bottom due to the party/open house I'm having this weekend in honor of a visit from my family (or most of it.) If I'm sweating enough that it's running down my face, that counts as exercise, right? Even if it's already 80 degrees F, right? I deserve some ice cream (see yesterday) for all that hard work.

I was surfing blogs today, and found this - Water Heater Jesus:
at Purls Before Swine. Yes, apparently, although I wasn't informed of this at church last week, Yosemite Sam now sits at the right hand of Jesus.

Hey, Beth... Yeah, didn't you know that Yosemite Sam made it into Heaven??? I hear Daffy Duck has applied to sit at the LEFT hand of Jesus, but I don't think he'll get it... what with his bad attitude and all!

And, as far as I know, a good bathroom scrub is good for at least 500 calories. Go ahead & enjoy that ice cream, or better yet, indulge in a little baked good tonight at B&N! See you then!

I was going to name that shot "The Last Barbeque" seeing as how several of the disciples are made from propane tanks. Other title options included "The Gassin' of the Christ" or "One Tank Over the Line..." The latter you're probably too young to recognize (song from 1970)

Your little sketchy-do would work out really nicely in a nice slip-stitch pattern - I really like it!
