New patterns! My favorite!

Look what came in the mail today from Patternworks (finally!):
It's the Spring 2003 Adrienne Vittadini.

I love the sweater on the cover (what a unique color combination), and I also like these two:

I bought the book for the tank. Click it to see it larger; the quality sucks, but you'll get the idea. The rest aren't too exciting, but they're not bad, either. They may grow on me.

I also ordered this pattern, which is from Karabella Yarns:

I may have to lose some weight to look ok in this one; I'd have to make the largest size, and that may be pushing it. But I LOVE it! Don't you?

I did do some knitting today, too. Between work and Bach Society Choir rehearsal, I went to a park (Shaw for my local readers) and sat for about an hour and worked on Madli's Shawl. I got one repeat done. I'm about half way through the first ball of yarn, and I've done six repeats. I should be able to get at least seven more out of it, if not eight. If I can get eight, then that's a total of 14, which means I could get 28 repeats in the whole thing without buying more yarn. The pattern only calls for 31; I don't think leaving out three would be disastrous. I'm not going to think about how much time it will take me at an hour a repeat. La, la, la, I'm not listening! Row, row, row your boat, gently down the stream....I'm not listening to you!

And now, I'm eating this:

which I made yesterday.

Green tea ice cream. "But it's not as green as it's supposed to be!" you say? Well, that's because I didn't add any food coloring. That's how green tea ice cream gets to be so green. So there.

I like that top too beth. I love those type of collars they look so chic. "is it up or is it down? you will never know becuase I am so mysterious and cool wearing it" well hopefully you get the drift :/

Take it from me. Do not, under any circumstances, figure out how much time it will take you to finish an item...especially lace. My Frost Flowers & Leaves shawl could tell you the same thing. Well, if it could talk and if it weren't currently in a box somewhere waiting to be unpacked and loved once more.

I love the purple one, and I'm all about the green tea ice cream. (I've never had it, but I want it anyway).

Hey Beth. I really like the gold top at the bottom there. I'm mostly slim but I have a fat tummy and I've done all kinds of things to hide it. Ribbing over the tummy works REALLY good. FYI
