Tying Up Loose Ends

In honor of the end of 2005, I wrapped up a few things:

Finally, a finished Cable-Waist Pullover. I'm still not a fan of how it looks on me, but it looks much better after the blocking.

And what was once some sweater parts became this:Then this:
I got a lot of practice winding balls, and my new swift got some use.

And last, but not least, the Here-And-There Scarf:

In a bit, I will have details for all of these here, at my Finished Objects Gallery.

Tonight, Gwen and Suzie and I are going to have dinner at California Pizza Kitchen, then we are off to St. Louis' First Night celebration. It's a first for all of us; it should be a good time.

Tomorrow, being New Years' Day, superstition tells us that what we do we will do all year. Thankfully, this hasn't been the case in the past, but just in case, I think tomorrow I should focus on Madli's Shawl, then maybe I'll have half a chance of finishing it.
