Knitting Guild Knitting

Today was the monthly Knitting Guild meeting, and between Mary Ann's fantastic presentation re: Kool-Aid dying and missing Gwen who so carelessly moved away, I got a lot done!

The back of Ribby Cardi is done:

And I got started on a sock from "Knitting Vintage Socks" in some Tess' Super Sock Yarn.
I actually had to rip out and start over once I got home, but that's ok. Everything's going along swimmingly now. And the color is so interesting. It's a mostly solid pink, but every time I look at it it's a different shade. Sometimes it's really pink, and sometimes it's more of an orchidy color. I love it.

In other news, I did not order Girl Scout Cookies, but in the past two days I've scored four boxes. Because I need more sugar.

Wow, I need to go to a guild meeeting, haven't been in awhile. No one to watch the wee one on Saturdays, cept my mom, and she would want to go too!! The baby is just too much a distracion in an environment like that.

Gwen misses you too. I'm really sorry I missed Maryan's presentation. I'm sure it's awesome. I like the sock for far.
