New And Improved

Now! Blogging from sunny Florence, KY in the Greater Cincinnati Metropolitan Area, it's YarnEnvy!

But really, it's just the same old thing. ;) I just wanted to update that the living creatures involved in the move have made it to their destination safely and securely. Word on the worldly possessions is still out. But I'm here, and that's all that matters.

I emptied out the back seat of my car, took a break, of which this is the end now that I'm not dripping sweat, and will now go to empty out the trunk. Unfortunately, the shower curtain, etc. is in the trunk or else I'd leave it and go find some dinner, and make the all-important First Trip to Target, during which I fill up a cart with brand new cleaning products, paper products, food products -- whatever I think I need. I love Target! I also love food. I have very little food right now. I also need to make the very important first trip to the grocery store, but I'm going to wait until I have shelf-lining in so I can put it all away.

So much fun!

Let the new adventure begin! I hope you love it. And having all brand new cleaning supplies is one of my twisted secret loves. That and a whole giant box of unsharpened pencils. Oh and new packages of paper.

No I was not dropped on my head as a baby. That I know of.

Hub has a good friend living near Louisville who knows maybe we'll go visit him and see you, too!

Here's hoping it goes well. But what about the yarn? Where is it? Is it safe?

I do a lot of my shopping at Meijer. I guess it's a bit like a Super W*lMart, just nicer! And sometimes they have great specials.

Welcome to Cincinnati. I live near Kenwood. Found you on the Queen City Knitters ring. I know there are more of us here than just those 5 though! We have a lot of nice yarn shops on the east side and a great one in Hamilton ( a little north of Cincinnati). NKY has at least two I know of so I know there must be plenty of knitters! We'll all have to meet sometime.
