Well, Florence KY traffic has seen no improvement, and my current Traffic Sock is progressing nicely:
I am reminded of one of the best parts of top-down socks (for me, at least). They're easy to try on at this point and know if it's time for the toe (Look! It is! So exciting.) I have a hard time getting toe-up socks-on-the-needles over my heel and ankle, or even up to my ankle to accurately determine when it's time to do the heel. And I'm definitely too lazy to put them on another piece of yarn to try them on. This, on the other hand, works great.

This is totally the reason I love top town socks, too. I sort of doubt I'll ever really make socks any other way!
