Ok. On top of a new dog, I also need to get a new computer this spring. My current computer is failing fast, and will probably bite the dust shortly. The details are long and boring.
Since I have the kind of job where I get a bonus at the beginning of the year, I can basically get whatever I want come February or so, and I got an e-mail the other day from Apple alerting me to their new operating system. I went to the Apple website, and watched their promotional video for Leopard.
I haven't even finished watching it. My jaw was in a permanently dropped position. I was gasping out loud. When it showed how it would recognize addresses in e-mails and you could either add it as a new contact or add it to a current contact, I think I started to drool. When it demonstrated highlighting things and turning them into To-Dos and how they're then added to your calendar too, I know I got goosebumps. I love having an organized calendar and To-Do list and well, there was a lot more, too. I could only think about the daily lock-ups exhibited by my current computer and weep.
I'm afraid to find out how much this is going to cost me.
