Finished Objects and New Objects

Ahhh, a Finished Object. These are a plain pattern, but beautiful yarn from Regia. The colorway was designed by Kaffe Fassett. Look for it at your LYS; it doesn't look so great in the ball, but they have pictures on the ball band so you can see what it'll look like knitted up.

In other news, I have my new iPod, and I'm so glad. It seems to work so much better than my old MP3 player. Especially in the area of podcasts, which makes sense seeing as how they're namesakes. With the old player I couldn't remember what I'd listened to and what I hadn't, and if I wanted to stop in the middle I had to make a bookmark. Now, the iPod remembers what I've listened to and removes it when I sync, and if I stop in the middle, it goes back to where I was, at least if I don't do anything else in the meantime. I'll have to test if it goes back to the middle if I listen to something else after stopping it. Also, the display is beautiful, and I swear the music sounds better. It also turns on and off quickly; the old one was more like my computer -- booting up and shutting down. I LOVE IT!!
