What I Did Today

One quarter of the EZ blanket is done:
I don't know what made me think this would go quickly. Garter stitch sucks. But I do like the technique, it's cool to see it come together.

This is some pasta I made for the "Italian" basket the Bach Society Sopranos are putting together for our big fund-raiser dinner auction.

Isn't that nice of me? Last year I donated this:It's red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting and rolled fondant on a satin base (of course, I removed the wax paper before donating it; I just forgot to remove it before taking pictures.) Our theme was "Romance" so I called it "Velvet, Satin and Lace".

To all my local blog-readers - get your tickets now! (Click to enlarge)

It'll be a $5 donation at the door. Please come, I have a big role in one of the scenes we're doing, and it'll be fun.

Hey look, I can post now! I tried this morning, but the site wouldn't let me. Waaahhh...it was such a groovy comment and everything.

Yummy looking cake. I say all the time, there is no cake like a Beth cake. Then people turn around and shush me...especially when I say it in a movie theatre.

So will you be wearing a costume and everthing? Is this like a really big deal and stuff? I can't actually be there for it or anything because my sister-in-law will be here that weekend. But I'm intrigued. Tell me more.

Also, where is the devil sheep clock? How can I decorate my sewing/knitting/scrapbooking room without a YarnEnvy clock? It's a must have.
