I got home from knitting at Barnes & Noble around 10:30 and should have gone to bed then, but I was one row away from grafting the two edges of the EZ blanket together, and I couldn't resist getting that started. Yeah, started. Here it is, finished:

And this is a close-up of the center:

I had to draw in the center because there was a hole left.
But did I go to bed then? Was I satisfied with documenting the milestone?
No. I did not, and was not.
I started the I-cord edging. I've never done I-cord before, much less an I-cord edging, and I was anxious to figure it out. Here's the beginning:

I-Cord edge looks great! It really finishes it off.
What's this? Beth the Technical Advisor had never done I-cord before?! Hey, even I've done I-cord.
Looks good though!
Let me clarify - I already knew how to make i-cord; I've even taught other people how to make i-cord, but I'd never actually physically done it myself. Now, if teaching something I've never done isn't being an extraordinary technical advisor, then I don't know what is. And the part I had to "figure out" was the best approach to doing it as an edging - there are several methods, and I had to find the one that would work best for this project. So there. :) I AM the Technical Advisor.
The lady doth protest too much, methinks.
