Sometimes a project comes along that surpasses all expectations. I started this on Saturday morning, for all intents and purposes....
Ta da!
Tonight was knit night at B&N, and I finished it (well, this piece), while talking. I am SO good.
Of course, for old times sake I had to look at hairdo magazines, which I've been doing for, what, a year now?
I found this: So cute!
And earlier today I found this on the internet, and it garnered many Ooos and Aahhs
It's the Halle Berry thing again, but I still think it's really cute. I think I'm going to show all of the pictures I like to my hair-dresser and let her work her magic, and surprise me. I am a brave and trusting soul.

I always just kinda let my hairdresser do her stuff. I figure she knows more about this stuff than I do. You sure have a lot of ideas. Love the half a cardi front :)
I love the cardi so far--especially with the little sparkles. And I can't wait to see how your hair turns out.
Wow! You're so much a better knitter than I ever hope to be. *sigh* I'm still working on the cardigan from Sally, but I did finally make the armhole bind-off on the back and then 8 more inches to go before the neck shaping, which I will probably need help with, since it's my first one. I love your cardi and I can wait to see the new 'do!!

Wow.. that cardigan's looking great. Very very fun. And yeah, I tend to just tell my hairdresser "make me look gorgeous" and leave the rest up to him. He actually prefers it that way.
The cardigan looks awesome!!! I can't wait to see it in person.
Do you have details for the big chop this weekend??
