Official FO

Finally finished! After much ado, it's complete. It's a little big, but that's ok. Better than too small. No one at work said anything about it, except the guy who said "How's it going .... Rainbow?" (This being the guy who asked me "lose a fight with a lawn mower?" after I cut my hair off. Jerk.) But everyone in the Knitting Posse was duly impressed, especially with the hook-and-eye tape attachment.

Anyway, all details will be provided on the Finished Objects page, here.

Remaining yarn, from left to right: One complete ball each green, blue, and red. One nearly complete ball of purple/magenta. About half a ball of turquoise. One nearly complete ball of Plaisance pink, and a little left of the first ball. Partial balls of all three sparkly yarns. The turquoise is what's left from what Jenn sent me. The four empty spools came from three balls of Plaisance orange (two that I purchased and one that Jenn sent me) and one from the turquoise sparkly yarn. No orange left; not even a drop. Verdict: too much green, blue, and red. Too little orange and turquoise. That sucked.

The yarn issues had to suck - but the finished product is fabulous! :)

You look marvelous in all that color!!

Beautiful colors, it came out perfect! What will you do with the remaining yarn? Perhaps mitered squares--a rug, or a bag, or something?

Beth, it looks great! too bad that the orange *count* was off. YOu have quite a bit of yarn left over, have fun figuring out what it wants to be.
