Inventory of Plunder

I forgot this photo in yesterday's post:The trunk was full for the ride home.

This is the sportweight alpaca I bought from Linda and Jim at Pajolo Alpacas. I plan to make a hat with it. Won't it be warm?

This is some Kid Mohair from Blue Moon Fiber Arts in color "Garnet Dreams". I plan to use it for the mohair scarf from Scarf Style.

This is one skein of Koigu for a secret project.

This is some very interesting wool/hemp yarn from Dzined. It's sportweight and enough for a pair of socks. If I like working with it, I'll probably make a sweater sometime. It's a very interesting yarn, and she had some beautiful colorways.
The much-coveted Lorna's Laces Sock in "Funky Stripe":
This was my first purchase, the lovely cashmere lace from Just Our Yarn. It's 500 yards, and I'll probably make a lacy scarf from it. Or maybe I'll just sleep with it against my cheek.
More Blue Moon Fiber Arts: Socks That Rock in "Cobalt Bloom": (How could you not buy something called "Socks That Rock"?)
And last, but not least, Tess' Designer Yarns sock yarn. I couldn't pick out a colorway that I thought I would wear, so I got this.
- I also purchased a pattern for a lovely shawl from Black Water Abbey. She was out of the pattern, but the sample was hanging in the booth, and she'll send it to me shortly. She didn't charge me for shipping. Isn't that nice?
- As mentioned yesterday I bought some blocking wires, which I've wanted for a long time. People who saw me with them acted like there was some magic about them; they asked "did you take her class?" "Did you see the video?" but I had to answer "No, I've just wanted them for a long time." They're not tricky, there's no secret to it. And I read the included directions, finding nothing I didn't already know.
- Documented already yesterday was the silk scarf kit from Arlene Graham's Fiberworks in Dayton, OH.

This is the organizer I got at Ikea to put my sock yarns in:

$1.50. How could you not buy it?

Nice haul. And secret 1 sk Koigu project? Sounds fun. Clever use of the IKEA thingies.

Wow, I don't think I could pass up the $1.50 deal at Ikea either. What a great haul! Enjoy your blocking wires!

HA! I have two of those hanging thingies and they are SUPER! One is for drying little bits of fleece on my back porch. I have a problem with birds taking my little bits of handwashed fleece. The other is in my basement holding all kinds of tape, extension cords and spare wires and stuff. Very handy!
