progress

A few days ago, I posted this picture as a draft entry; it's the jacket for my dress (with sleeves!) and the ruffle.

I also posted this picture of a yummy dinner I made, but now it's so long ago, I don't remember when.
Homemade pasta - yum!
But I never got around to actually writing a post and posting it. Oops.

So, now the concert is over, and the dress is done enough to wear and I have a wee bit of time to relax. It's been a long week. I'll spare you the details, but knowing that my baguette in the midterm for Baking class was an abject failure should tell you that things are a bit off. Very little knitting has been going on.

When, after the concert, I took out my camera to have someone take a picture of the dress, I realized that I had no memory stick. Sorry. This is what you get.
<---This is what it looks like to me.

I need to do a few alterations, and I still need to add the hooks-and-eyes. But everyone really liked it. I was happy with that.

Lovely jacket and now I'm hungry for pasta. . .

Your dress is appropriately elegant. I bet you could make a few of those in different colors. It could work with anything.

Somehow I'm feeling hungry...
