I'm Over the Stover

Happy Half-Price Chocolate Day!

Half-Price Chocolate Day is one of my favorite holidays. This year I took a new approach. I only bought what I thought would be high-quality chocolate, even if I couldn't get as much or if it was more expensive. I ditched the Russell Stover, and I even left out a past favorite, Whitman's. This year I purchased Stephany's (a standout from last year) and Choxie (both from Target) and one box of Godiva from Barnes & Noble. I ate one piece already, and I don't care that I was a little allergic to it; it was fantastic.

In other news, the hat has been ripped, with much-appreciated help from my friends, and the crown is bigger now. I may have to abandon Team DPN, however, because it's really been a big pain to do a big hat with colorwork on little dpns. It would be much easier with a circular (or if I were doing one color). I'll have to contemplate that, since I don't have a size three circular available, but I do have a slew of size three double-points.

Beth, glad to see you stocked up on chocolate. You'll have to let me know how the Choxie is. I'll let you know about the Trivia Night.

Yay for chocolate (makes note to self to stock up on red wrapped Hersheys for Terry's "love lose repeat" merchandise)

I'll look forward to pics of the re-worked hat. Still plenty of time to finish it!

I managed to find the chocolate carmel in the Godiva box and boy was it good. I should indulge more often...
