Life, Work, and Knitting

What a week last week was. And I'm dreading, and at the same time can't wait for, the coming week. Last week a bunch of things came together at work that needed to be done all at once, and this coming week I have customers coming in who expect me to perform miracles by lunch time. This is the first time I've had customers in the office and I couldn't have had less time to prepare. That's Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday I will try to catch up for lost time on Monday and Tuesday, but then I get to pick up Gwen at the Dayton airport, and Thursday we're going to see Jimmy Buffett. She's staying through the weekend, and we plan to relax. I can't wait.

In the meantime, I've been trying to get the house in order for her visit, and to avoid housework, I've been knitting (and messing around on Ravelry, of course).

This is the first sleeve of the Cable Rib Cardigan (from Vogue a few years ago.) I'm almost up to the sleeve cap.

In other news, I found a grocery store that carries Ben & Jerry's Sorbet, in several flavors, even. I haven't been able to get any of it for years. Yum! And the store is close to my house, even.
