A New Kangaroo

Have I ever shared this with you? I don't think so. I've talked about the yarn, but not the work at hand. It's been a UFO for a bit, I haven't worked on it in a while, but I'm not starting another pair of socks until I finish a sweater so I'm making short work of it.

Here's my current progress on Sally Mehlville's Kangaroo from The Purl Stitch (well-documented in Ravelry):

This is the front, the top piece is the pocket. I've already completed the back; I'll take pictures when it's blocking (which I should do soon before I get too far on this piece!)

I'm going to go back and tag the past entries about this yarn; it's Knitpicks Bare that I dyed with Kool-aid and if you read the back entries about it you can learn all about it. Fun!

[Edit: Turns out I can't add tags to old posts, so if your life will end without knowing how I dyed the yarn do a search on the blog for Kangaroo or Kool-aid or something. Sorry.]

It's good to see this yarn return. I remember when you dyed it. Looks awesome knit up.

Sigh...there are 5713 people in front of me on Ravelry...still waiting...

Love the yarn though and interesting design for the sweater. I'll have to look it up cuz I can't picture it complete right now.

Hope you had a nice Christmas!!
