Hello everyone. I need some help.
This weekend I am going to Chicago for a friend's wedding. I'm driving up on Saturday for the wedding, and back on Sunday. Naturally, Saturday is more or less occupied with the wedding, but I am not in a huge rush to get back on Sunday and am having a hard time thinking of something to do before I leave. Usually I'd hit a yarn store or something, but I think the fact that it's Sunday morning will put the kabosh on that.
I feel like if I'm going to Chicago, I should take advantage of it. Any ideas?
[Edit to add: The wedding is in Oakbrook Terrace. It appears to be directly west of the city proper, according to Google Maps.]

Are you actually going to be in the city? If so, I'd suggest Millennium Park and checking out the Bean and other stuff around there. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Bean
It's not far from the Art Institute either which is one of my favorite spots.
If you're going to be in one of the suburbs, let me know and I can try to tailor my answer accordingly.
You could take your list and hit IKEA. :-) I've only been to the one in Schaumberg, but there's also one in Bolingbrook, SW of Oakbrook Terrace. They both open at 10AM on Sundays.
