That Was Close

This morning I was hanging out on Ravelry and matching up patterns to my stashed yarns. I was double-checking something I had paired up earlier, and looked at this pattern:

Much to my surprise, the Ravelry page, which previously allowed for buying and downloading the pattern, said "Note: No longer available."

What? How could that be?

I actually felt physically nervous that I might not be able to get this pattern any more. Apparently I wanted to make it more than I knew. A serious Google-hunt ensued.

Thankfully I was able to find it available on the designer's website. But lesson learned: just because a pattern is available digitally doesn't mean it will always be available. If it's a pattern you really want, don't wait.
