"I lust very deeply in my heart to do the Phildar Cardigan Raye. I'm pretty sure that if I don't make that sweater before I die, I'll have lived an unfulfilled life."

I received some money for Christmas, and decided to use it for the Cardigan Raye seeing as how I'll be "unfulfilled" if I don't get it before the yarn is all discontinued. I sent an e-mail to Breiweb in the week after Christmas, and she responded today. I quickly sent her the money via Paypal, and my yarn will be on its way from the Netherlands soon. I could just die of happiness. If the exchange rate was better, maybe I would. This thing is costing me over $100, but a lot of it is shipping, and it's a present to myself.
In other news, I'm feeling better today, and spent a lot of it knitting my sister's Shedir hat. I'm almost to the part where I start decreasing.
And here is FO 2005 number one: Broadripple Socks
Finally.

Socks look awesome. Can't wait to watch the progress on Cardigan Raye.
Great. I had only just recently managed to block my deep longing for Cardi raye. Way to open old wounds. : )

Those socks look great! I may try that pattern for my next pair.
