Now My Ice Cream Will Be Safe

An FO. Who knew?

It's an ice cream cozy.
I used some leftover Cascade Fixation (less than 20g), and used short rows to shape it. I wanted to use stretchy yarn, and sock yarn is a great choice because it's washable, should I inadvertently spill some ice cream on it. (Obviously I don't actually have any ice cream right now, only an old container. How sad.

Because one pint of ice cream is NOT a serving*. And when you take the pint of ice cream over to the couch to eat ONE QUARTER of it, like a sensible person, you don't want the edges to start to melt, because that will affect the quality of the subsequent servings of ice cream.

*If you've been eating an entire pint of Haagen-Dazs at a time, you do not get to complain that you don't know how you got so fat.

I totally need to work on the ice cream/serving size thing! Everything is better with a cozy on it, I think.

What about when you make your own ice cream?

I love the cozy and your color choice. I'm planning on making this (in wine), too.
