A Lid of Inspiration

I decided today that I needed an exciting new project that I could finish.  Quickly.  In a day or two.  I haven't finished anything in forever, and it sure would feel good.

So I took one of my prized Stitches purchases, (took Sadie for an extra-long walk to tire her out) and got to work:

As you can see, I'm just about half way through, or at least I better be.  I only have two skeins.

The yarn is extra-special alpaca from extra-special Minnesotan alpacas, raised by some fantastic Minnesotans.  (But I didn't have to tell you that the Minnesotans are fantastic, did I?  You know they all are, right?)
